Big Picture: Where are we?
Second round of architect sketches completed

Corp Update
 

• I met with my architect again this week, and we reviewed an updated set of sketches. We decided to bump out the back of the building to relocate the bathroom and mechanical room. This creates more useful working space in the “wood shop” area of the structure. He will finalize these sketches, and then we’ll send them to CAD and then on to the city. Once I have those CAD drawings, I can also start the process of getting bids for the concrete work.

• I also spent part of the week chasing minor maintenance items on Hatfield St, and working on the books for taxes. Last year I decided I wasn’t happy with my bookkeeper, so I’m doing them myself this year. The goal is to get a new bookkeeper, but it won’t be in time for this year’s returns.

• Get final CAD drawings, submit to city (~March 7 March 14)
• Begin excavation and concrete bid process (early March)
