Corp Update
- We’ve begun the process at Harrison Street for the shop build. I had a surveyor out , and they marked the property. I’ve provided those drawings to my top-notch architect, and he and I have been working through some design considerations for the building. I hope to have drawings within a week or so.
There’s a video version of the update on Harrison St. and I’m hoping to post those fairly regularly. The goal is to make videos every week, and to keep the update to <5 minutes long (in part so you don’t get bored, and in part bc longer videos take a lot longer to edit!)

Definitely subscribe to the YouTube channel so that you’re notified when I post updates! - In the rest of the business, it seems to be plumbing season. I replaced a garbage disposal at one property (there was gravel in it, so I suspect the tenants were either working with potted plants, or cleaning off boots. Either way, I had to pass along that cost to the tenants.). Also, we had a drain stoppage at another property, and I had to call out a plumber for that one. Such is the life of a landlord!
- We were also on vacation for 10 days, and really enjoyed seeing the Northern Lights and visiting a few cities in Europe! Of course I was fascinated by the construction of the cabins in Finland. It takes some special construction work to make a small cabin feel so comfortable when it’s -30C outside.

Next Steps:
- Get the first round drawings from the architect. Review/ iterate as needed. Hopefully we are submitting to planning review in February, and I’ll also start the process of getting bids for the foundation work. Goal would be to have foundation bid signed by early March.
