Big Picture: Where are we?
Closed on Harrison St (new property)
Corp Update
- We closed escrow this week on a new property on Harrison St. I’ve been talking to a superb architect, and look forward to building a new shop at this location in 2025. Roughly speaking, here’s the timeline:
- Jan 2025: Design consultations. Produce Drawings.
- Feb 2025: Approvals from City of Pgh
- March 2025 – April 2025: Excavation, foundation, and rough plumbing
- May – June 2025: Walls and Framing
- July 2025: Roof
- Aug – Sept 2025: Interior build-out
- Obviously the details are still up in the air, but I’m very much looking forward to this project. Meanwhile, I’m enjoying the house very much. When we are deep in construction, I often find myself thinking about the holidays in the building. December is the fulfillment of that vision. I get a lot of joy out of this.
