Under contract for a new property
Corp Update
- We are in escrow on the new property. Should close somewhere around 10 December. No other changes on that front.
- I finally finished the shelves in the living room. They are installed with 1/2” threaded rod going 3” deep into the studs. With a rod every 16”, these shelves are pretty sturdy. Like anything, you get better as you do it over and over again. I feel like I went from rank amateur in the first shelves in the kitchen to well-practiced by the end. (Just in case I need to mount a bunch more floating shelves, I guess?)
- At Hatfield Street, The astroturf is down. I have a little bit of clean-up to do, but the tenants are very happy. I have a few more staples to put in (the area circled in red in the photo), and the infill material, but then it’ll be wrapped up. This is definitely a win:win deal with the tenants. They get something they will be able to use, and I’ve invested in the property, which increases its appeal to future tenants.
