Status Report, 4 June 2023

Big Picture: Where are we?
Working to get Mintwood landscaping plans approved. Also working on plaster job in North Hills. Turned over Orange Ave to new tenants.

Corp Update

  • I’ve submitted the purchase request to Allegheny Plywood for the HackPgh miter saw station. Hoping for delivery of that wood on Jan 12-14. Developed a set of plans for new mitersaw station in the HackPgh woodworking shop. I was able to secure pricing from Allegheny Plywood that is very kind to our non-profit. Now I’ve put it out to the membership to fund this project.
  • Traveled to CA for a tenant change. Old tenant has moved out, new tenant is in. Some minor hiccups, but we’re working through them.
  • Duncan landscape is overgrown with Kudzu. Apparently when we tilled the soil, we chopped up the roots, and they propagated a bunch of new vines. We’re going to have to do a major brush clearing there.
  • Landscape architect has revised the plans, though I’m not 100% certain they meet the city’s requirements. I’ve submitted, and we’ll see what they say.
  • I have about 1 week left on the North Hills plaster job.

Goals for week of 4 June

  • Hope to get feedback from city re: landscape plans. To be clear, this won’t be a final approval- just directional to see if we have the right docs submitted
  • Finish drywall job in North Hills
  • Tax preparations
